Prohibited Content

The following content is not allowed:

• Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability
• Threats of violence or encouragement of self-harm
• Sexually explicit or graphic content
• Personal information of others (doxxing)
• Spam, advertising, or promotional content in reviews
• Intentionally false or misleading information about events
• Content that promotes illegal activities

Profile Standards

• Use a display name that is not offensive or impersonating another person
• Have a profile picture that is appropriate (no explicit, violent, or offensive imagery)
• Include accurate information about your dance background

Your bio is visible to all users, including those who view your private profile. Choose content you are comfortable sharing publicly.

Social Interactions and Following

DanceFOMO allows users to follow others to stay updated on their activity.

• Follow users you are genuinely interested in
• Do not send follow requests to harass or intimidate others
• Do not use mass-following or unfollowing to manipulate counts
• Respect private profiles and denied requests
• Do not create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions

Your event activity may be visible to your followers. Abuse of the follow system may result in restrictions or suspension.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you encounter violations, report them in-app or contact us.

• Content removal
• Review privileges locked
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent ban

We apply enforcement proportionally. Repeat violations lead to escalating consequences.

Do not post content that infringes on copyrights. Contact us if your work is used without permission.

Changes to This Policy

We may update these guidelines as our community evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
